Digital Dropbox

The Digital Dropbox allows you to submit assignments to your instructor.  Check with your instructor to see if he/she would prefer that you use the Digital Dropbox or if you should send a file by email.

  1. Make sure that you have completed your assignment and saved it to your computer.

  2. Click "Student Tools" from the menu on the left.

  3. Click "Digital Dropbox".

  4.

  1. Click the "Send File" button.

Note:  Please ignore the "Add File" button.  If you use "Add File", the instructor will not receive your document.

  1. Enter a title for your document in the "Name" textbox, (for example, "Assignment 1").

  1. Click the "Browse" button across from the  "File" textbox.  (See above.)  When the "Choose File" dialog box appears, (see below), locate the file, select it, and click the "Open" button.

  1. The path to the file will now be listed in the "File" text box.  Don't alter this path.

  2. You may enter a description of the file in the "Comments" textbox.

  3. Click the "Submit" button to send the file to your instructor.

  1. You will receive a receipt saying that the file has been sent to your instructor(s).

  2. Click the "OK" button to return to your Digital Dropbox.

  1. You will now see a copy of the file in your Digital Dropbox along with the date and time that the file was submitted.  The file will also have been placed in the instructor's Digital Dropbox.

Note:  If you see "Submitted" below your file's name, it means that the file was submitted to your instructor.  If you instead see "Posted on", it means that you used the "Add File" button instead of the "Send File" button and you only added the file to your Digital Dropbox; your instructor has not been sent the file.
