My Grades
Blackboard provides a secure online gradebook tool, “My Grades”. You will
only be able to view your grades through the online gradebook; you will not
be able to see the grades of your classmates.
To access your personal online gradebook, click “Tools”, (or “Student
Tools”) from the menu on the left. Click the “My Grades” link.

You will see a list of grades that your instructor has made available. Your
instructor might add more assessments as the semester progresses, so the
information in the “Weight” column might change throughout the semester.
For each assessment, you will see a date. If you haven’t submitted the
assessment, the date is the due date; if you have received a grade for the
assessment, the date shows when the instructor added the grade to the
gradebook.
If the instructor has reviewed your assessment, your grade will be displayed
in the “Grade” column. If the assessment was a Blackboard quiz or test, you
can click your grade to be taken to the results page from that quiz or test.
If other students are still taking the test, you might only see your grade
on the results page. Once everyone in the class has completed the test, your
instructor might release the answers to the test. Return to the gradebook
and click your grade to view the answers.
The “Class Average” column will provide the average of just the grades that
have been entered by the instructor so far. So, the result in this column
might not be correct.
Congratulations!
You've finished the Blackboard Tutorial!
