Student Information Center

You Have Questions - We Have Answers

John Tyler Community College’s Information Center staff members answer incoming phone calls to the general College number, typically assisting callers with information about seven major departments on campus, including the Registrar, Admissions and Records, Counseling, the Division of Extended Learning and Distance Education, Financial Aid, the Business Office, and Testing Services. Information Center staff can help callers with questions about testing procedures, class schedules, tuition and fees, transcript requests, on-campus/driving directions, and more. If a caller requires information beyond the scope of the Information Center, staff members direct the caller to the appropriate department.

In addition to these services, the Information Center provides myTyler log-in and Student Information System assistance to students. Students can either come to the Information Center for on-site computer assistance with myTyler tutorials, or e-mail the myTyler help desk at mytylerhelpdesk@jtcc.edu.

The Information Center at John Tyler began operations in 2007, and staff members are constantly reevaluating services to best meet the needs of John Tyler Community College’s students, faculty and staff, as well as the general public.
