Pizza sales! Sign up for volunteer shifts on Tuesdays from 12-1:30! Remember you need to volunteer 4 times to get a discount on the NYC trip. December 2nd is the last pizza sale of the semester!
Next “First Friday” is November 7th- meet at Art 6, the address is 6 East Broad Street, the corner of Broad and Foushee.
The D.C. Trip is Saturday November 22, 2008. There is 1 spot left. You may contact C. Ferguson if you are interested. cferguson@jtcc.edu
Holiday arts and crafts sales Tuesday 12/9 Midlo and Wednesday 12/10 Chester 10-2pm, we need volunteers and vendors, but we won’t be soliciting for that until after Thanksgiving.

Phill’s report from the Student Council: 1. Surveys next week 2. International Food Festival in February- We need to decide on a Country and a Restaurant to represent us. February 25 at noon at the Chester campus.
Holiday cards- ideas are still being accepted.
This Friday is the last day NOVEMBER 7th- to submit artwork for the Art Foundation Award. Pick up an application in the studio.
The Sherwood Forest Literary Journal is also accepting submissions, check your JTCC email.

A free day trip to Washington DC is being planned for the fall. The dates are yet unknown.
Fright Night is upon us! If you can volunteer time for set up Friday 10.24 in the afternoon at Chester, or Friday and Saturday nights from 5-11 on the scare trail or for the take down of the even please contact Deanna; This would count towards your volunteering goal for active club status!
Holiday card mock-up are due! Please bring your samples to the next meeting 10.28 so we can discuss our designs and resources. These are hand made or printed holiday cards for the December Arts & Crafts sale.
Fool for Art April 18th (Collage- Recycled Materials-Crafts etc- stuff for auction)
The New York trip has been scheduled for March 27th-29th. Get your volunteer shifts in so you can take advantage of the discount! Other volunteer opportunities will be the Arts and Crafts sale, digital slide shoots (even if you don’t know how, you can learn)
Face painting was a big success. It earned money, respect and recognition for the Art Club and the members who went out and represented! Awesome!

The Program is 11-4 and you can bring original work if you do not have a slide portfolio!!!!
