Federal Work-Study Program

The Federal Work-Study (FWS) program provides part-time employment opportunities to eligible students in order to help them afford College.  In the FWS program, students whose Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) qualify them for FWS are awarded an allotment of funds which may be earned through part-time employment in FWS-approved positions either on- or off-campus.  FWS jobs are designed to be flexible around students’ class schedules. If you wish to be considered for the FWS program, you must indicate this preference on your  FAFSA and apply directly to FWS program employers.

If you have been awarded Federal Work-Study and are looking for a job, the Financial Aid Office maintains a list of available FWS positions.

The College also publishes a FWS Student Handbook PDF with additional information regarding the Federal Work-Study Program.
