The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a great resource for students applying for or renewing their financial aid.  If you are a renewal applicant, you should visit this site and apply for a Personal Identification Number. Students and parents who possess a PIN can complete and electronically sign their FAFSA on the web.

The Financial Aid for Students page, maintained by the US Department of Education, Office of Post-Secondary Education, has information on preparing, choosing and applying for financial aid.
