The Extended Learning Department offers courses for adults who want to continue their professional education, pursue certifications, or explore personal interests. The department’s coursework prepares students for licensure or certification in a wide range of fields. Professional development courses require classroom attendance.

• Teacher recertification courses
• EMS training
• Phlebotomy coursework
• Drivers education training for instructors
• Wastewater licensure review classes
• General interest courses

Professional development courses, like computer short courses, are designated in the schedule of classes with a “P” in the section number (for example, EDU 295-P1B).
