The John Tyler Community College Foundation offers International Studies Scholarships for students to study abroad. For more information on how to apply, please click here.

Each year selected faculty, staff and administrators also participate in the VaCie VCCS International Exchange. The program pairs individuals from John Tyler and other VCCS institutions with exchange partners from the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and India.

Study abroad participants bring their experiences back to the College through special programs such as An Afternoon in Africa, Fiesta Latina, and the Explore! Series – all of which offer others at the College and the community at large a chance to hear stories, see photos and learn more about the countries the College has visited. Check the events page for the latest on upcoming Explore! Series programs.
