
| About the Foundation |
Foundation staff members Lane, Gibson, Dew, Raines Sullivan and Hansen. Incorporated in 1967, the John Tyler Community College Foundation raises money to support the work of the College, its students, and its faculty and staff. All funding is targeted to advance the College’s mission of providing quality educational opportunities that inspire student success and community vitality. The Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. All gifts are tax deductible as allowed by law. For income tax purposes, the federal identification number for the John Tyler Community College Foundation, Inc. is 52-1389646. Its fiscal year is January 1 through December 31. A Board of Directors, comprised of business and community leaders and College faculty members, governs the John Tyler Community College Foundation, Inc. The Foundation’s assets are managed by the Board and are audited annually by an independent accounting firm. The Foundation is responsible for coordinating fundraising, grants, Foundation scholarships and alumni relations. For more information, please contact a member of our staff:
