The Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC) is the annual workplace giving campaign for the more than 100,000 employees of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Nearly 1,100 charities participate in the CVC annually, ranging from education, health and human services, to research, disaster relief and animal welfare.

The John Tyler Community College Foundation is a participating charity of the CVC. Employees throughout the Commonwealth can choose to contribute funds to the John Tyler Foundation in support of the various programs and services at the College. Contributions to the Foundation have a dramatic impact on the community in the form of continued high-quality training and instruction that result in a stronger workforce and economic development within Virginia.

The CVC runs from October 1 to November 30 in state workplaces throughout Virginia. The important thing to note about donating to the CVC is that 100 percent of those dollars are delivered to the charity. In addition, the total dollars designated to the charity are increased by approximately 8 percent due to matching or undesignated dollars.
