Where is JTpassport?

JTpassport was used by the College for many years as the secure, self-service area where students could enroll in and drop classes, pay their tuition and fees, request unofficial transcripts, view their grades, and much more.  However, JTpassport required a separate login from Blackboard and VCCS Student E-mail, and students often confused their username, which they used for Blackboard their VCCS Student E-mail, with their user ID (emplID), which they used to log in to JTpassport.

Now, myTyler brings the functionality of JTpassport, Blackboard and VCCS Student E-mail together and allows students to access these three functions with a single login – a student’s username.

To further eliminate confusion, the College will no longer use the brand name JTpassport for the Student Information System after September 15, 2007.  Instead, when you log in to myTyler you will see an option for the “VCCS SIS8.9: Student Information System.”  In this area, you can perform all of the same functions you were able to perform in JTpassport.

If you do not kow your username, you can locate your myTyler login information.
