Why use VCCS Student E-mail?

All students are issued a VCCS student e-mail account after they apply to the college. However, the e-mail account will not be activated until two business days after the student registers for a credit course. For security purposes, all e-mail correspondence between students and faculty or staff must be via the student's VCCS e-mail account.

Your VCCS student e-mail address will be your username (for example jtyler9999) combined with @email.vccs.edu.  When you log in to myTyler, you will be logged in to your VCCS student e-mail account.  Simply click on “e-mail,” and you will be taken to your VCCS student e-mail account.

Your VCCS student e-mail is fast, easy and the only approved way for you to communicate with the College’s faculty and staff.
