Career Center Resources One of the most important decisions you will make in college is choosing the right academic program for your career goal. To help you with this important decision, John Tyler offers resources such as, self-assessment tools, research tools, and information and sessions, in the Career Center. Career Center staff are available to help students at the following times and locations:

Self-Assessment Tools Enrolled students also may participate in more in-depth career assessments by completing individualized interest and personality assessments and follow-up interviews and interpretation. The Strong Interest Inventory provides a detailed interest profile based on vocational types such as artistic, social, or enterprising. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is a personality inventory reporting preferences on scales such as extraversion/introversion.
