Placement testing is available on a walk-in basis and on an appointment basis. The walk-in testing days listed below are strictly between the hours indicated and on a first-come, first-served basis. You should have a completed Application for Admission on file at the College for at least 48 hours before taking placement tests.

Important note: Placement tests may not be taken more than once during the same 6-month period of time without written official permission to do so and an additional $6.00 testing fee.

Summer term applicants are expected to take the placement test no later than May 22, 2010. Those who delay past this date risk not being able to enroll in classes for the fall term.

To schedule an appointment for a placement test during the times specified for appointments on Saturdays, please e-mail testing@jtcc.edu providing your name, date, time, and campus preference at least two days prior to the testing date.

Placement Testing Fees
All students taking placement tests must pay a $6.00 placement testing fee at the College's Business Office before taking their placement tests. The Business Office is not open on Saturdays. Please remember to bring your receipt from the Business Office to the Placement Testing Center when you come for your placement test.
