To ensure the security of your personal information, it is important that you log out of myTyler correctly.  Please follow the steps below based on which myTyler system you are using:

Logging out of Blackboard and VCCS Student E-mail

1. When you are finished working in Blackboard or VCCS Student E-mail, you must click on Log Out.
2. You must then close the window (click on the “X” in the upper right-hand corner).
3. At this point, you are NOT logged out of myTyler. To do so, you must click Log Out in the myTyler window.

Logging out of the Student Information System

1. When you are finished working in the Student Information System (VCCS SIS 8.9), you must click on Sign Out.
2. You must then close the window (click on the “X” in the upper right-hand corner).
3. At this point, you are NOT logged out of myTyler. To do so, you must click Log Out in the myTyler window.
