To celebrate the College’s deep roots in the community, the Foundation recently commissioned Giving Trees for the Chester and Midlothian campuses. The trees, being designed by art students and created in conjunction with Les Bell, instructor of precision machining technology, and Darrell Coleman, assistant professor of welding, will publically recognize donors who are committed to sustaining the work of the College. With leaves starting at the $50 level, the trees are an excellent way to memorialize individuals connected with the College, celebrate graduations, and recognize the work of outstanding faculty and staff members. The different colors of the trees’ leaves represent different levels of giving: Copper leaves – $50-$99Bronze leaves – $100-$249 Silver leaves – $250-$499 Gold leaves – $500 and above If you are ready to support John Tyler Community College and design your personalized leaf, e-mail foundation@jtcc.edu or call 804-594-1476.
