Blackboard Content System
Overview

Note:  The information on this website is specific to the VCCS version of Blackboard and might not be applicable to other installations.

What is the Blackboard Content System?
Blackboard 6, (abbreviated as "Bb"), is composed of three systems, the Learning System, (Bb courses), the Community System, (the Bb portal), and the Content System, (a virtual storage space, abbreviated as "CS").  This site details the Blackboard Content System.

Features of the Blackboard Content System
  • Provides a virtual storage space in which instructors and staff can save content
  • Content owners can provide access to others, even those outside the VCCS
  • Collaboration tools allow groups to share and revise files while tracking progress
  • Create e-Portfolios for departments, clubs, and other organizations

Please use the menu on the left to learn more about the different features of the Blackboard Content System.
