Are There Dues and Where Does the Money Go?

Are There Dues and Where Does the Money Go?

Membership fees of $70 are paid only once, upon joining. There are no yearly dues.

Membership fees are the cumulative costs of local, state, and international dues. They are broken down as follows:

  • $55 goes toward international dues, most of which provides scholarships and other benefits to members
  • $5 goes toward regional dues, which allows for occasional regional projects to benefit all VCCS colleges & students
  • $10 goes toward local dues, which your chapter uses to organize events, projects, and donations to the various causes the members wish to participate in. A small amount also helps to provide funding for the new member induction ceremonies each semester
