PEER Educators Institute

April 25, 2013 at Holiday Inn Koger Center South

Over 200 Educators’ Institute attendees spent the day learning about current and emerging workforce needs and opportunities, with a focus on the health industry sector and logistics. Participants included representatives of K12, higher education, business/industry, government and non-profit organizations. The event was hosted by the John Tyler PEER Consortium, and sponsored by Virginia Commonwealth University and the Southside Health Education Foundation. Luncheon speakers included: Luke Schultheis, Vice Provost for Strategic Enrollment Management at Virginia Commonwealth University, Dr. Bill Fiege, Vice President of Academic Affairs at John Tyler Community College and Dr. BJ Brewer, Superintendent of Amelia County Public Schools.
