Learning goes beyond the classroom. That’s why members of Tyler’s Academic Resource Center (ARC) and Library are holding a series of student workshops this fall. The workshops are designed to help students build their skills for classwork, projects and more. Among the workshop topics: exploring Google apps; learning about Office 365; understanding APA and MLA citations; learning how to research; prepping for the TEAS; writing tips; and more. These workshops are free and open to Tyler students.
In addition to ARC and Library workshops, Tyler’s Career Services is offering a series of fall workshops for students, alumni and the community.
The fall workshops are listed on fliers around campus. Information about workshops, as well as activities happening on campus, may also be found at www.jtcc.edu/services/student-activities/student-activities-events and in the weekly “Get Connected” e-mails sent by Tyler’s Student Activities Office.
