CHESTER and MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – More than two-thirds of careers require some education beyond high school. If you or a member of your family has been thinking about exploring your higher education options, mark your calendar. On October 30, 2019, John Tyler Community College in partnership with the Virginia Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers will hold a College Fair. Representatives from more than 80 colleges and universities will be on hand to answer your questions and to talk to you about a variety of topics, such as majors, classes, paying for college, the application process, and student resources.

The College Fair is open to all high school students and their parents, as well as to adult learners who are thinking about starting or continuing their college educations. It will take place from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Nicholas Center at John Tyler Community College’s Chester Campus (13101 Jefferson Davis Highway). There is no charge to attend.

For directions to Tyler’s Chester Campus, visit www.jtcc.edu/locations. For additional information about the College Fair, contact Heather Taylor at htaylor@jtcc.edu or Leah Wiseman at lwiseman@jtcc.edu.
