CHESTER and MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – Take a fantastical journey, and discover the story behind Peter Pan, as The Lynn Theatre at John Tyler Community College brings Peter and the Starcatcher to the stage. Tony-award-winning Peter and the Starcatcher upends the century-old story of how a miserable orphan becomes the legendary Peter Pan. From marauding pirates and jungle tyrants to unwilling comrades and unlikely heroes, the play explores the depths of greed and despair... and the bonds of friendship, duty and love.
Tyler’s theatre program will present six performances of Peter and the Starcatcher in November 2019. All shows will take place at The Lynn Theatre, located in the T Building at Tyler’s Midlothian Campus (800 Charter Colony Pkwy.). Show dates and times are:
- November 8 at 7:00 p.m.
- November 9 at 7:00 p.m.
- November 10 at 2:00 p.m.
- November 14 at 7:00 p.m.
- November 15 at 7:00 p.m.
- November 16 at 7:00 p.m.

Peter and the Starcatcher by Rick Elice with music by Wayne Barker is based on the novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. It is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (www.MTIShows.com).
