You are invited to join Tyler’s Sociology Club, Student Veterans Organization, Black Students Alliance, and Student Activities in supporting Tyler families this holiday season through the Undecorate a Tree project. Trees decorated with ornaments that provide information on items needed for a family in need have been set up in Moyar Hall, M110 at Chester and in the T Building at Midlothian. To get involved, stop by one of these trees, take off an ornament, and purchase the item or items needed. Then, return those unwrapped gift or gifts to Moyar Hall, M110 at Chester or Hamel Hall, H103 at Midlothian. All gifts must be received by December 9, so they can be distributed to the families.
Undecorate a Tree is one of the many projects in which Tyler’s student clubs and organizations come together to help members of the college family and members of the community. To learn more about this and other student-led projects, check out the weekly e-mail sent by the Office of Student Activities and the Upcoming Activities section of the Student Activities web page.
If you have questions about Undecorate a Tree, contact Michael Rutz, instructor of sociology.
