Workshops and Activities Designed to Help you Succeed

Posted on January 31, 2020

By Holly Walker

Throughout the spring semester, Tyler’s Career Services, Library, and Academic Resource Center are holding a wide variety of workshops and activities designed to help you succeed in your classes and prepare for your next steps – whether that’s getting a job or transferring to a four-year college or university.

At these events, you can learn new research techniques; find out how to cite resources in your work; have your essays reviewed, and get tips on how to write effectively; learn techniques that will help you during a job interview; get pointers on how to write a resume or build your professional LinkedIn profile; and much more.

For a complete list of these workshops and activities, plus a list of student activities taking place a Tyler, visit the Student Activities & Events web page, and keep an eye out for the weekly newsletter sent out by the Student Activities Office.
