Celebration Week

Posted on May 01, 2020

By Holly Walker

While we cannot be together right now, we can still celebrate Tyler’s Class of 2020 and mark the end of a very unusual spring semester.

During the week of May 4, the college will offer some fun ways to mark the achievement of our grads and our students.

May 4 – Special commencement website for the Class of 2020 launches.

This special site will include a customizable commencement announcement that can be downloaded and shared, a commencement program that can be downloaded and shared, and much more.

May 4 – Rep Your Next Step Day.

Tyler Grads: Show us what’s next up for you! Wear attire that showcases your next step, whether you’re planning to transfer to another college or want to go into the workforce. Then, take a photo and post it to Tyler’s social media sites, so we can celebrate all you’ve achieved.

May 5 – End of the Semester Celebration – We Did It!

Watch Tyler’s social media sites for a special celebration of the last day of final exams.

May 6 – Fun Graduate Frames and GIFs on social media.

The college will share, through its social media pages, fun frames and GIFS that can be used to celebrate graduation.

May 7 – Student Awards Ceremony Video.

Our annual awards ceremony is going virtual, with a video celebrating this year’s winners.

May 8 – Graduation Celebration Video.

Check out Tyler’s social media sites for a special video celebrating the Class of 2020.

Celebration Week social media posts will be primarily made to Tyler’s Facebook and Instagram  pages.

We encourage you to post your celebration messages on social media. Tag @johntylercc so we can see, interact with, and share your posts!
