Hello, Trailblazers! Welcome to the Fall 2017 semester at John Tyler Community College! We’re excited to have you back on campus and joining us in our online classes. There is always a lot going on the first couple of weeks of classes, as you meet your instructors, settle into your classes and get into your fall routine, and we want to let you know that we’re here to help you! If you need assistance, ask your instructor, your advisor, a member of the Advising Center, or anyone wearing a JTCC employee badge. 

Throughout the semester, we hope you are able to find the time to participate in Tyler’s student clubs and organizations and in the college’s student activities. There’s always a lot happening, so here are a few tips on how to stay connected:

  • Check your student e-mail. You’ll receive information about events, activities, community service projects, student club meetings, job fairs, four-year college/university visits and many more opportunities.
  • Follow Tyler on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The college uses these channels to share information about resources and opportunities for students.
  • Explore There is a lot of information on Tyler’s web site that can help you, including news stories that highlight upcoming activities, student successes, alumni news, student resources and more.
