Summer Semester Financial Aid

Posted on March 07, 2018

We have some exciting news for students receiving the Federal Pell Grant. You are now allowed to receive Pell Grant disbursements for the fall, spring and summer semesters. What does this mean for you? Even if you’ve utilized your entire award for the fall and spring semesters (100% of your Pell eligibility), you can still qualify for more Pell to help you pay for summer classes.

If you wish to receive the additional funds, you must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credits). Students who qualify will automatically receive the additional Pell upon being awarded and may still qualify for state grants if they are eligible.*

It is important to note that these additional funds will be counted toward students’ Pell Lifetime Eligibility Usage (LEU).
