Tyler Announces Activities for its Annual Literary Festival

Tyler students, faculty and staff are invited to take part in the college’s 23rd Annual Literary Festival. The festival will be held April 4 – 10 and will feature a wide variety of activities.

April 4
Student Speech Contest
12:30 – 2:30 p.m.

April 6
Juried Student Art Show
5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
Midlothian, Eliades Hall, room E107
*Open to the community. Admission is free.

April 6
Opening of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
7:00 p.m.
Midlothian, The Lynn Theatre (T Building, room T112) 
*Open to the community. Tickets required. Additional performance dates. 
 
April 9

Light refreshments will be served.

On April 9 and April 10 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., explore books written by Tyler faculty. The faculty book tables will be set up at the Chester Campus on April 9 in Moyar Hall (1st floor) and at the Midlothian Campus on April 10 in Hamel Hall (2nd floor). There will also be an opportunity for free books at the reading and workshop activities.
