Join us at 11:00 a.m. on November 12, as we come together to honor those who have served our country at John Tyler Community College’s annual Veterans Day Ceremony. This year’s ceremony will be held at the college’s Midlothian Campus in Hamel Hall, H109.
Chesterfield County Sheriff Karl Leonard, who served as a Coast Guard reservist for 30 years, will deliver the keynote address, and Rolling Thunder Chapter 5 VA will present John Tyler Community College and its Student Veterans Organization with a POW/MIA flag. The ceremony will also include recognition of the college’s faculty, staff and student veterans, and a memorial tree planting.
John Tyler Community College’s Veterans Day Ceremony is open to all students, alumni, faculty, staff and members of the community.
If you have questions about the ceremony, contact Lisa Kendrick (lkendrick@jtcc.edu or 804-594-1527).
