Giving back and finding ways to help others is something we often do throughout the year, but, during the holiday season, we often find ourselves trying to do a little more. On November 27, we celebrate this generosity, as people from all over the world come together to participate in #GivingTuesday. This is a day when individuals, organizations and businesses give back and make a difference in the lives of others. These gifts come in many forms – the donation of time, the collection of food, a random act of kindness, the organization of fundraisers, the gift of money, and more.
At John Tyler Community College, community is part of our name, and we believe in giving back and supporting our students and the communities we serve. Throughout the year and during the holiday season, our student groups, employees and Foundation support our college family and our community.
Team up with John Tyler Community College for #GivingTuesday.
- Support Tyler’s students through the John Tyler Community College Foundation, which provides scholarships, helps obtain equipment for programs, and so much more. Your gift will touch the lives of thousands of Trailblazer students. Donations to the foundation may be made online at https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/johntylerdonatenow.
