CHESTER and MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – The countdown is on to 2019 and the start of a new semester at John Tyler Community College. Registration for spring classes is now underway. With more than 60 majors to choose from, some of which can be completed in a year or less, Tyler provides a variety of options for career switchers; recent high school graduates; and those interested in restarting college or in coming to college for the first time. Plus, Tyler offers its students connections to area employers, as well as opportunities to continue their education at top four-year colleges and universities. 

Prospective students are encouraged to visit http://www.jtcc.edu/nextup to explore Tyler’s majors, take a career assessment, sign up for a campus tour, and hear from Tyler alumni. To view Tyler’s spring class offerings, go to http://www.jtcc.edu/schedule. Those ready to enroll at Tyler may apply for admission using the college’s online application found at http://www.jtcc.edu. ;

John Tyler Community College offers more than 60 majors that provide pathways to careers in high-demand fields; transfer opportunities to four-year colleges and universities; and industry credentials and licensures. The college, with campuses in Chester and Midlothian, a Nursing Education Center, online classes, and off-campus classrooms, served more than 14,300 students during the 2017-18 academic year. It also assisted more than 7,000 learners through its workforce development division, Community College Workforce Alliance.
