Happy holidays, Trailblazers!
John Tyler Community College will be closed for the winter holiday break from Saturday, December 22 – Tuesday, January 1.
Registration and Assistance during Winter Break
While the college is closed, students will still be able to sign up for their spring classes using the Student Information System (SIS) in myTyler, and new students will still be able to submit their applications for admissions through the online application found on http://www.jtcc.edu.
JTCC will not be able to offer in-person assistance during the winter break, but we will be offering assistance through e-mail starting December 26. The following e-mail addresses will be monitored after that date, and you should receive a response to your e-mail within 24 – 48 hours:
- firstname.lastname@example.org to get answers to questions about class registration, transcripts, the college’s application for admission, and diplomas.
- email@example.com to get answers to questions about transferring, majors, placement testing, waiving placement tests, and recommended next courses.
- firstname.lastname@example.org to request a third-repeat of a course.
- email@example.com to get help with myTyler.
- firstname.lastname@example.org to get technical support with Blackboard.
If you have a financial aid question, contact the Financial Aid and Student Accounts helpdesk, which is available 24/7 every day of the year. Call 1-855-874-6684, or go to https://mysupport.jtcc.edu, and participate in an online chat.
Tuition Deadline Reminder
If you register between now and Friday, January 4 (including classes you sign up for on January 4), your tuition and fees must be paid by January 4 (by 5:00 p.m. if paying on campus or by 11:59 p.m. if paying online using QuikPay), so you are not dropped from your classes.
