Upcoming Events

Feb. 20th: Black History Month Documentary Viewing -- Join us in the viewing and discussion of "Hip-Hop: Beyond Beats & Rhymes". The event will take place in Hamel Hall, room H109, from 12:30pm-2:30pm and refreshments will be provided. 

Feb. 20th: Safe Zone -- A workshop offered to faculty, staff, and students and are designed to help participants become more sensitive and informed allies for the LGBTQ community. The workshop will be held from 9:30am-11:30am in Moyar Hall, M135A.

Feb. 21st: Black History Month Documentary Viewing – Join us in viewing and discussion of “Understanding Race”. The event will take place in Bird Hall, B124, from 12:15pm-2:15pm and refreshments will be provided. 

Feb. 23rd: Trip to the Cultural Center of Virginia --To participate students must submit a written response to "What does Black History Month means to you?" by clicking the link or emailing your response to studentactivities@jtcc.edu. Response must be submitted by Tuesday, February 20th at 11:59pm. The top 12 responses will be invited to participate on the trip and will be treated to lunch at Croaker Spot in downtown Richmond. Students will be required to provide their own transportation, if necessary the Office of Student Activities will coordinate a carpooling option.

Feb. 23rd: SVO Bowling --The Student Veteran Organization invites you to join them in a night of bowling. If you're interested contact Mark Burroughs at meb22496@email.vccs.edu or Mike Murphy at mmurphy@jtcc.edu.

Student ID's

Student IDs can be picked up from the Office of Student Activities during normal business hours. There is no charge for a student ID. Student IDs may also be required to attend certain student activities on campus.
