  • Oversees the operations of the College-recognized student groups, clubs and organizations
  • Advises Student Government Association

  • Coordinates intramural sports

Upcoming Events

UNO & Spades Mobile Gaming -- Interested in joining our UNO or Spades mobile gaming groups please email studentactivities@jtcc.edu.

Thursday "Watch Parties" -- Each Thursday we will host watch parties from 3pm-5pm through our Facebook Group be sure to join us. 

  • Thursday, March 26th & Friday, March 27th we will be watching "Self Made - Inspired by the life of Madam CJ Walker"

Monday, March 30th - April 3rd -- "Spirit Week": We will be hosting spirit week for the college through our social media platforms. More details to come soon. 

Wednesday, April 8th: "JTCC History Forum - "For King or Country: Jacobites and the American Revolution by Victoria Glover": This talk will address the reasons why Jacobites, who rebelled against Britain in 1745, would make up a large number of loyalists in 1775. This event will be conducted through Zoom at 2pm and we will provide the link soon.

Wednesday, April 22nd: "Tyler Has Talent" -- This virtual event will take place on Zoom and will start at 3pm. Interested in participating see direction on "how" below. To participate as a spectator please click on the link "Be A Spectator".

Office Hours

The office will be closed to all students, staff, and facuty until further notice.

Student ID's

Student IDs can be picked up from the Office of Student Activities during normal business hours. There is no charge for a student ID. Student IDs may also be required to attend certain student activities on campus.

Reasons to obtain your ID:

  • Print at the campus library
  • Obtain your parking pass
  • Access to campus gym
  • Store discounts
  • Access to VSU recreational facilities (swimming pool)
  • The ability to be identified as a Tyler student quickly
  • Check out books and meeting rooms at the library
  • Sign in at the ARC

Gym Hours 

The gym will be closed to all students, staff, and facuty until further notice.
