The Dean of Students’ Office oversees a wide range of student support initiatives including:
Single Stop connects students to government and community resources that will help them reach financial security, such as government benefits (SNAP, TANF, WIC); educational resources; legal assistance; housing options and health insurance options. By completing the online screening, Single Stop can estimate in minutes what supplemental resources students might be eligible to receive. Single Stop staff are also available to assist students in accessing these resources.

The FCC is currently offering an Emergency Broadband Benefit that provides a $50/month discount to households that meet eligibility requirements.

The Tyler Care Team provides support to students struggling with personal issues impacting their success at Tyler.

The Student Emergency Fund assists Tyler students who are facing an unexpected short-term financial emergency.
Military Student Success Grants, assist military-connected Tyler students with unforeseen expenses related to COVID such as food and housing needs.
Safe Zone creates a safe and supportive campus for all students regardless of their gender and sexual orientation.
